In the Lustrum 8 series of activities, the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya will hold the Brawijaya International Conference on Architecture & Urbanism (BICARA) 2023. The activity with the theme Resilience and Togetherness in Architecture will be held on September 7 2023 in Malang in a hybrid manner. The keynote speakers invited to this conference included Prof. Ghafar Ahmad from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Prof. Sevil Sariyildiz from TU Delft (on confirmation), Prof. Baojie He from Chongqing University, Dr. Ema Yunita Titisari from Brawijaya University, and Adnya Punia Sarasmita, Ph.D an Urban Planner/Designer practitioner from The Urban Collaborative, Oregon, USA. This activity was also supported by the Association of Indonesian Architects for the Malang Region and the Indonesian Built Environment Research Association. The deadline for submitting scientific articles (early bird) is July 15 2023, and for regular scientific article submission deadline is August 15 2023.
