Curriculum and MBKM Benchmarking of Universitas Ciputra to Department Architecture UB
The Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (FTUB) received a visit from Universitas Ciputra (UC) today, February 10, 2025, in the Main Conference Room. This event was conducted as part of curriculum development, implementing the *Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka* (MBKM) program, and quality assurance in architectural education.
In her remarks, the Head of the FTUB Architecture Department, Dr. Ir. Lisa Dwi Wulandari, ST., MT., CIQaR, CIQnR, CIMMR, CISHR., expressed her appreciation for this benchmarking.
"I think this is a strategic step in strengthening synergy between universities in improving academic quality and implementing MBKM," she said.
Melania Rahadiyanti, S.T., M.T., as a representative from Ciputra University, explained the curriculum innovations that have been implemented at UC, including project-based learning strategies, collaboration with industry, and the academic quality assurance system implemented to ensure the quality of graduates.
The interactive discussion produced various ideas and strategies that could be implemented by both institutions in developing an architectural education system.
It is hoped that the results of this benchmarking will serve as a foundation for further collaboration between Universitas Ciputra and the Department of Architecture at FTUB in the fields of academics, research, and the MBKM program.
Kegiatan ditutup dengan sesi foto bersama dan di saat yang sama perwakilan Guru Besar Departemen Arsitektur, Prof. Ir. Antariksa, M.Eng, Ph.D., yang diwakilkan oleh Sekretaris Departemen, Dr. Ir. Damayanti Asikin, MT., turut memberikan buku sebagai simbol sinergi dan kolaborasi yang diharapkan dapat terus berlanjut. (mic)
