
Department of Architecture FTUB Receives Visit from UNUSRA
The Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (FTUB) received an academic visit from the Architecture Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, University of Nahdlatul Ulama, Southeast Sulawesi (UNUSRA) (17/02/2025). The group, which consisted of two lecturers and 15 students, was led by Ir. Hasrudin, ST., MSi., and welcomed in the 1st Floor Conference Room of the Department of Architecture Building FTUB.

The visit was welcomed by the Head of the Department of Architecture, Dr. Ir. Lisa Dwi Wulandari, ST, MT, CIQaR, CIQnR, CIMMR, CISHR, and the Secretary of the Department of Architecture, Dr. Ir. Damayanti Asikin, MT. In her speech, Dr. Lisa Dwi Wulandari expressed her appreciation for this visit and hoped that this activity could be a place to share knowledge and strengthen cooperation between the two institutions.

Furthermore, Ir. Hasrudin, ST, MSi, as the Head of UNUSRA Architecture Undergraduate Study Program, also gave a speech and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity given by the Department of Architecture FTUB to share experiences and academic insights.
“In our institution, there is a decrease in interest due to the length of the educational process to become a professional architect, please share your knowledge on attracting students in this architecture lecture,” said Hasrudin.
Answering this challenge in addition to the duo of Kadep and Sekdep, Dr.techn. Yusfan Adeputera Yusran, ST., MT.Ars., IPM, ASEAN Eng also provided motivation and shared his experiences during the process of obtaining STRA.

The presentation of the Department of Architecture FTUB became one of the main agendas in this visit. UNUSRA students and lecturers got an overview of the learning system, curriculum, and academic programs implemented at the Department of Architecture FTUB. Interactive discussions were also held to deepen the understanding of various aspects of architectural education.
In closing, Prof. Antariksa handed over a book as a symbol of sharing knowledge and insights in the field of architecture.

The group was then invited to visit ongoing studio classes and ended with a site visit to the UB Auditorium Building.
This visit is expected to be the beginning of closer academic cooperation between FTUB and UNUSRA in the field of architecture, both in research, education, and community service.
